Eligibility
- Dogs must be at least 4 months old
- Handlers must be 16 years or older
Training & Behavior
- Dogs must reliably follow basic commands
- Completion of basic obedience training is required
- Dogs must enjoy meeting new people and remain calm when approached or handled by strangers
- Comfort in unfamiliar environments is essential
Equipment & Class Expectations
- Medium dogs: prong collar required
- Small dogs: martingale collar with chain
- 5–6 ft leash (leather preferred; retractable leashes not permitted)
- Handlers must bring cleaning supplies, paper towels, and waste bags
